Daydream Destination is a deck of 40 cards designed to portray those magical activities we intensely wanted to do as children, such as touching the moon and visiting fantasy worlds.
Cards are categorized as aces, queens, jokers, or numbers from four to ten. Each of these represents one of the mystical activities. For example, all cards labeled “9” show superhero stories, while all labeled “6” are movie worlds. The cards are also divided into four sections with their own symbols: the moon, balloons, clouds, and books.
DELIVERABLES: Visual identity, Illustration, Packaging.
SOFTWARE: Illustrator, Photoshop.
I was tasked with creating a deck of cards that showcased a unique concept, complete with a complex storyline that tied all the cards together and set the scene for a fun game night. With this limited-instructions project, I was able to let my imagination flow and showcase my creativity.
